Our Beliefs

We believe that we are called by God to equip students academically, and to spiritually impact their world for Christ. As our students learn what Scripture says, they are provided with opportunities to understand the vast differences of Christian perspectives present in our world today. Bethany Academy offers a safe environment in which to learn, discuss and listen to one another, accepting those differences while not compromising the integrity of Scripture and what Christ has done for us.

At Bethany Academy we offer an education that is grounded in core Christian values and biblical principles, in which the basis for these beliefs is the word of God as affirmed in the following statement:

Statement of Faith

Bethany Academy is an interdenominational, evangelical K-12 Christian school that subscribes to the Apostles Creed and confesses that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God. These are revealed for salvation by the Holy Spirit and, therefore, are the ultimate standard for faith and life.

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell. On the third day He rose again; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
