EMPTY BOWLS AND CLAY with Mr. Hale
Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:15-5:00 in the art room starting November 8
Spend some time working with clay on the wheel and hand building bowls. Help plan, organize, and hold an empty bowls event at a local coffee shop in March with live music, handmade bowls, and a serving of warm food. Share your writings with peers for review and critique, discuss other great writings, spend time writing together in this afternoon club.
BOOK CLUB with Mrs. Kingry
Mondays (every-other) 3:15-4:15 starting in October – February.
Spend time each meeting reviewing books on the Newbery Award candidate list through discussion and book talks. End the club with a Newbery Award party watching the Newberry winners announced.
Lost and Found will be out on a table in the lobby for the week of October 1-October 8. Please Check to see if any of these lost items are yours. All unclaimed items will be donated to ARC in Bloomington.
